OLE Objects

You can attach any type of external file to your Access tables, eg. Word CV's, Excel price lists. Add another field to your table and choose the OLE data type. |

| In the datasheet view of your table right click the field and choose Insert Object. |  |

You can then choose From File on the left and then the Browse button to go and find the relevant file. If you tick the box for Link you will maintain a link to the original document. To open the file later, double click on the field and the appropriate software package will open. |
